Evaline Louise Deem, 94, of Parkersburg, passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on June 15, 2017.
Evaline was born January 18, 1923 in Parkersburg to Samuel P and Effie Dae {Baker} Allen.
Evaline was a homemaker and loved taken care of her family. She was a member of the Grace Gospel Church. She enjoyed reading and cooking.
Evaline will be deeply missed by two sons, Ronald A. Deem of Walker and Richard (Janelle) Deem of Parkersburg, granddaughter, Rhonda (Keith) Marlow, step-granddaughter Heather (Jared) Morrison great-grandchildren Joshua (Charity) Wilkison, Jeremiah (Katie) Whitlatch, Zachary (Kecia) Whitlatch,...

Evaline was born January 18, 1923 in Parkersburg to Samuel P and Effie Dae {Baker} Allen.
Evaline was a homemaker and loved taken care of her family. She was a member of the Grace Gospel Church. She enjoyed reading and cooking.
Evaline will be deeply missed by two sons, Ronald A. Deem of Walker and Richard (Janelle) Deem of Parkersburg, granddaughter, Rhonda (Keith) Marlow, step-granddaughter Heather (Jared) Morrison great-grandchildren Joshua (Charity) Wilkison, Jeremiah (Katie) Whitlatch, Zachary (Kecia) Whitlatch, Emma and Cloe Morrison, great-great grandchildren Faith, Gracie and Hopie Whitlatch, Hope and Faith Wilkison, Evan, Warren, Raidyn and Maely Whitlatch.
Evaline was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Boyd Deem, baby John Franklin, granddaughter Cheryl Whitlatch.
The family would like to thank Evaline's neighbors Gerald and Dorothy Stump, Nellie Gaston and Joe Treadway.
The family would also like to thank Evaline's cargivers; niece Sharon and daughter-in-law Brenda.
Visitation will be Monday, June 19 from 4 to 7p.m. and Tuesday, June 20 from 1-2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Watson officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
